Company History  

P&L General Contractors, Inc was founded by John Parkhurst and Richard Lang in 1952 as Parkhurst & Lang. Throughout the mid 1960's the main emphasis for Parkhurst and Lange was on residential construction, but gradually entered the commercial market. In 1980, after the untimely passing of John Parkhurst, P&L General Contractors, Inc was formed and incorporated under the sole ownership of Richard Lang. After a very successful career, Richard Lang retired and sold P&L General Contractors, Inc to Ron Wallin 1996. Ron Wallin began working for P&L in 1973 as a labor and throughout time, worked his way up to Project Manager, office manager and eventual sole owner. 

In 1997, P&L General Contractors established a builder's agreement with Varco-Pruden Buildings, Inc, a pre-engineered steel building manufacture and has completed numerous design/build projects utilizing pre-engineered steel buildings.

On August 31, 2000, P&L General Contractors, Inc became a certified participant in the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Program and the Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) Program.  Large 8(a) MACC, Small 8(a) MACC and MATOC contracts awarded.
